Since my last column entry for "Industry Views", Modern Guitars, the world has experienced significant change. Unless you live in a cave, you may have heard that there's a global "credit crunch." Ultimately, everyone has felt its impact. It's being called the largest "financial crisis" in modern history. I won’t go into who’s fault it is, (it wouldn’t change a damn thing either) but it’s safe to say that a few very greedy people have screwed it up for pretty much everyone else, including themselves in some cases. There is a saying, which goes, "It’s not about what happens in life, it’s about what you do when it happens." I think that sums it up, nicely. The question is, of course, is "What can we do?" I hope you’re well and you got through the cold days fine. I can’t say that I like winter much although the changing of the seasons is kind of nice. I think I’m a spring/summer person, though. I prefer warm from cold if I have a choice. After getting a bit more into management issues and giving you my take on some business related topics, I decided to go back to talking about music. We’ve been busy writing new songs since Never Give Up was released a year ago. The album has been doing fine - we’re getting regular downloads and we’re selling a few CDs.
