Rocking the Key Club  (January 29, 2005)

So, Camp Freddy decided to play a Tsunami Benefit show at The Key Club in Los Angeles. Announced over the radio weeks before (without telling anyone, including the club) it was kind of thrown together with the help of the club and Indie 103.1 FM. A huge thanks to Michael Steele, Carrie, Brent, Deb, Kim, Joe and everyone who made the night a big success... Continue reading "Rocking the Key Club"

Digital Tenderness  (January 23, 2005)

Anybody remember the first Adam And The Antz album, Dirk Wears White Socks? There is a song on there titled "Digital Tenderness", and that springs to mind when I think about the NAMM show this year. Lots of shiny new equipment to drool over, lots of hands to shake, lots of pics to be taken. Oh how we musicians love NAMM! I will be... Continue reading "NAMM NAMM NAMM"

Yeah, L.A. is reminding me a little of my homeland right now - wet, grey and cold. What is also quite interesting (and more than a little annoying) is that no one in L.A. can drive in the rain. Everyone is so used to the 350 days of dry sun a year that when it rains, it all turns to shit! Little old ladies driving at 5 miles an hour (I kid you not) and massive...
