Review: Creedence Clearwater Revival 40th Anniversary Edition Reissues (October 16, 2008) by Brian D. Holland.
Creedence must be at or near the top of classic rock bands with almost as many greatest hits compilations as greatest hit songs. However, if you haven’t already picked up their 2001 box set, it’s good to have copies of all the major albums inside their particular sleeves, cover art and all, especially since all six contain remastered music and unreleased songs. For CCR fanatics, this is an excellent batch of reissues. Catch John Fogerty on tour this fall. The schedule is on his homepage, found at the link below. The Six Reissues Creedence Clearwater Revival: 01 I Put a Spell on You Bayou Country: 01 Born on the Bayou Green River: 01 Green River Willy and the Poor Boys: 01 Down on the Corner Cosmo's Factory: 01 Ramble Tamble Pendulum: 01 Pagan Baby |
