While summer has transitioned to autumn, artists and bands are gearing up for fall and winter tours. Making guitars fit specifically for the female form, with a lighter weight and slimmer neck profile, is one thing; but it is truly the artists hitting the road, night after night, that continue to spread the Daisy Rock mission and inspire females everywhere to keep rocking!

This year, I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming many new faces to the Daisy Rock family, who embody the complete representation of Daisy Rock; strong, artistic, and empowered females who rock. I’d like to take the time to spotlight a few, and let you know not only what they are up to right now, but how they Daisy Rock!

The Veronicas: Double-platinum selling artists in Australia and releasing their second full length album Hook Me Up in the United States this summer, twin sisters ad Australian natives Jess and Lisa are not only talented and down to earth girls, but they can seriously bring down the house. Check out this video featuring Daisy Rock’s Siren; Jess’s favorite guitar to show off her rock star persona!

Currently, The Veronicas just went back to Australia to perform at the ARIAs and have plans to tour their native country in February. If you want to see more Veronicas and get a full list of their tour dates, visit them at www.theveronicas.com, and check out their visit to the Daisy Rock Showroom exclusively on the Daisy Rock YouTube Channel.

Lesley Roy: Singer/Songstress extraordinaire from Balbriggan, Ireland, Lesley has taken the music scene by storm, opening for Kate Voegele this past month and holding the theme track to MTV show Exiled ("I’m Gone, I’m Going"). Check out this clip of Lesley performing one of her new songs off of her debut album, Unbeautiful, on her new Bubinga Jumbo Butterfly Acoustic/Electric.

The Bridges: Family band from Alabama, Brittany leads the pack as the cousin with heartfelt melodies, harmonizing with cousins and all siblings Natalie, Stacey, and Isaaca, not to forget brother and drummer Jeremy to deliver an eclectic yet soulful sound that is unforgettable to any first time listener. This summer they opened for Southern California indie surf rock group Rooney, are an MTV U and MTV Freshman 5 sensations, and can be seen this fall headlining their own tour, dressed entirely by Express. To see their full tour lineup and to learn more about The Bridges, check them out at www.myspace.comthebridgesmusic.

Every week more artists join the family, so make sure to check out the Artist Section of www.daisyrock.com for regular updates on what our Daisy Rockers are up to, and always add us as a friend online to see Daisy Rock artist exclusives, contests, and get to know the community! Until next time...
