These guys are interesting. They entertain without obvious influences from other groups like you find in so many rock bands.
Joe Bonamassa, an up and coming new blues artist. You gotta appreciate the excellent guitar work on this video. We found this guy floating around on FaceBook. Found this Led Zeppelin video from the way back YouTube archives. This was when the band was one of the most popular rock bands of their time. I recall hanging out with friends, probably skipping math class, and listening to Led Zeppelin. We may have inhaled, but I don’t recall 🙂
Filmed at the MEN Arena in Manchester on 16 Dec. 2011, this stunning Duran Duran Live show is the combination of great music & amazing visuals which has been the band’s trademark throughout their career. http://store.eagle-rock.com/duranduran/
Following the release of their acclaimed “All You Need Is Now” album, this concert combines new songs from that release with their classic hits. Whether in the studio or the live arena, Duran Duran are masters of their craft and this latest concert bursts with energy and oozes class in the way that only they can.
This tune is just too awesome. Here’s the studio version – Enjoy!

This is the guitar solo played by Guthrie Govan from Steven Wilson’s latest body of work Hand. Cannot. Erase. .
When I first heard about the album I put off looking into it, just too busy and all. At the time I’m writing this post the album has been out for close to a year and this was the first time I had the opportunity to hear some of the tracks.
Hand. Cannot. Erase. is one of the most amazing works of artistic sound I’ve ever heard, a modern masterpiece! True to style, Steven Wilson has blown me away again with his innovative compositions. I love this stuff!
This post marks the first time we break away from our usual format because I want to give each track its due. So here is each individual track broken out (studio version) instead of our typical live versions.
In order on the album…
First Regret / 3 Years Older
Hand Cannot Erase
Home Invasion/ Regret #9
Happy Returns / Ascendant Here On
We decided to find the coolest song ever by David Bowie to pay tribute to the Thin Duke who passed way early January 2015. His career spanned decades with albums and singles topping the charts right up until ten years before his death. Amazingly, he produced one last album “Blackstar” which I have yet to hear as of writing this post.
Bowie became an icon in the music industry, leading the way for many others who modeled his bizarre stage makeup and flamboyant style. A leader in fashion and music David Bowie will be missed.
A-Ha Gets back together and plays at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert event. Excellent version of this tune.
Buffalo Springfield was one of those one hit wonders from the seventies. Even though this was prety much the only song that got airplay, it sent a strong message. At that time the Vietnam war was raging and people were dying in the streets protecting the war.
