Cat Club  (July 12, 2005)

Hey, how's it going? Yes, painting once again. This time at the Cat Club in Hollywood. The booking agent there was cool with the idea as long as I was willing to reimburse them for damages if I got paint on anything. I was down with that because it's acrylic paint and when it's wet it wipes up and when it's dry it peals off as long as it's not on fabric.

Anyway, I had painted to this band in Arizona and Hawaii, and hooked up with them. I was upstairs before the show inside the semitruck that overlooks the club. I was looking down before they went on and saw that one of the band members who earlier tried to get me to mosh, name to remain nameless, was slaming into a friend and then bounced off and knocked this guy down and his glasses flew off and he landed on his ass and banged his head on the stage. He was ok, no blood. He looked pissed, but it was an accident and kinda cool. I wish I had that on video.

Then the music started. That's Scotty rockin' and rollin' in the back. Check out his site: http://www.laststoprecords.com/ScottRobertson and don't forget to check out Fleeting Trance in San Francisco: http://www.fleetingtrance.com.

Hey, anyone got a band they want me to paint to in California? Leave a comment on this site tell me about your band or what music ya like to see!

Yes, that bandaid on my neck is covering up a hicky from the make out session in the semitruck upsatairs.
