LyT Pedalboards Announces 24 and 32 Inch Models

Press release
Source: LyT Pedalboards, Inc.

LyT 24 Pedal Board

The LyT 24 Pedal Board (pedals not included).

Since 2004, LyT pedalboards has been bringing guitarists high quality products at a fair and reasonable price. In today’s economy, value is more important than ever before, and LyT is proud to deliver and stand behind a quality, handmade in the USA product at a price that is unmatched in the industry.

LyT’s pedalboards are constructed from a special wood-composite material that offers superior strength at a very low weight point. Pedalboards are available in two standard sizes (24 and 32 inches) with both models featuring an angled second story tier for easy pedal access (as well as handy, under-tier storage), along with durable, non-skid rubber feet, a low profile (standing only ½” off the ground- perfect for preserving the tactile sensation of using your pedals right on the floor) and an ultra light weight- under 6 lbs for the 32 inch model and only 4 lbs 7 oz for the 24- roughly the weight of a Chihuahua. Custom sized pedalboards are also available at a low additional cost for special order, with a typical construction time of under one week.

LyT 32 Pedal Board

All LyT boards are provided with a generous amount of specially sourced Velcro, originally designed for high strength medical applications, but now gaining a following in the guitar world for its ability to hold tight without coming unglued, or losing its hook to loop grip. This unique Velcro is also available for separate purchase direct from LyT.

To allow players to further customize their purchase for their individual needs, all LyT boards are available stand alone or packaged with a sturdy LyT gig bag, a lightweight but secure aluminum LyTcase, or an ATA approved, heavy duty FlyTcase. All bags and cases can also be purchased individually, for the player on a budget who wishes to buy incrementally, or simply if a customer’s needs change down the road.

LyT has been featured in Guitar Player magazine as one of the top pedalboard companies, and satisfied customers now number in the thousands, including David Levitt (Alanis Morisette, Rod Stewart) and Vernon Reid (Living Colour), who use LyT’s products on tour. They recognize the value and, more importantly, quality inherent to every product to bear the LyT name, and so will you.

About the company
LyT Pedalboards was founded in 2004, and the LyT story begins (as so many of these stories do) with a single craftsman building a great board for personal use after growing tired of the number of over-priced, or worse, low quality pedalboards commercially available at the time- not to mention the back breaking weight of some of them. It didn’t take long for people to notice the great qualities evident even in this prototype LyT board, and soon friends began asking for boards of their own… By word of mouth alone the LyT brand took off, soon gaining national prominence. Despite the accolades from touring musicians industry publications, and bedroom rockers alike, all LyT boards are still hand made the same as the first prototype that started it all, but with all the refinements and upgrades of 5 years of pedalboard making experience.
