Instrumental Rock Guitarist Gary Hoey to Make In-Store Appearance

Recording artist and Fender clinician Gary Hoey appears at the Melodee Music store in Sterling, Virginia, at 8 p.m. today to introduce attendees to Fender's Road Worn guitar series, '50s and '60s-style instruments that feature a road-battered, aged look and feel. He will also demo Fender's latest additions to its Vintage Modified amp series: the Deluxe VM and Band-Master VM 212, both of which combine tube amp construction with studio-quality effects. The clinic is free and open to the public.

In addition to the Fender product demos, Hoey will also discuss ways to improve tone both onstage and in the studio and offer songwriting tips, technique-improving exercises, advice on making it in the music business, will perform songs from his extensive catalog and answer questions from guests.
