Daisy Rock Founder & President Tish Ciravolo travelled to Boston, Massachusetts this past Saturday March 29, 2009 to be a guest panelist at the Berklee College of Music 2009 MEIEA Conference. Continuing the ongoing mission of doing whatever it takes to help girls learn to play guitar and enjoy music, Tish spoke to music industry students, professionals, and community members alike about the entertainment product industry and innovative ideas for manufacturing, marketing, and selling products.

Widely recognized as the leading authority on female empowerment in the music industry and an expert in girl guitars, Ciravolo first participated with MEIEA at the 2006 conference held at the University of the Pacific, sharing experiences, stories, and advice with the future leaders of the music industry. The 2009 MEIEA Conference was held at Berklee College of Music this past weekend March 27-29, 2009, and is Ciravolo’s second time to be featured on a panel for MEIEA. For info, visit www.meiea.org.

MEIEA, Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association, is an international educator’s organization formed to bring together educators with industry professionals to facilitate an exchange of information in order to prepare students for their roles as future leaders of music and entertainment industries.

Among Tish Ciravolo were panelists David Moulton (Moulton Labs), Sammy Ash (Sam Ash Music), Tom Hawley (Recording Magazine and Musico Pro), and Stephanie Kellar (Berklee). Students had the chance for a Q&A after introductory remarks on the music products industry and innovation with the top leaders of the segment.
