Modern Guitars Reader Giveaway: Girls Rock! DVD

Girls Rock!

Imagine a camp for girls who are eight to 18 years old who've never met. They are gathered together to learn guitar, bass, drums and keyboards and to form bands. Some are shy and lack confidence, while others enjoy being on stage and belting out rock songs. The experience is transformational and liberating for many and offers touching moments of self-discovery for others, all in a non-threatening and compassionate setting.

One of the film's directors recently noted, "At Rock 'n' Roll Camp, girls ranging in age from eight to 18 are taught that it's OK to sweat like a pig, scream like a banshee, wail on their instruments with complete and utter abandon, and that it is 100% okay to be exactly who you are."

This giveaway has ended. The three lucky winners are: Aubre Bohnen, Alexa MeeKwon Whitehead and Vickie McGrew.
