Ry Cooder's musical trail includes composing film scores for such movies as Crossroads, Paris, Texas, and The End of Violence. He's hit the stage with such notables as the Rolling Stones, Randy Newman, Eric Clapton, Gordon Lightfoot and the late John Lee Hooker. One of the early pioneers of what's now known as "World Music," his signature licks erupt from his slide guitar.
