Top Guitar Shredder Matthew Mills Joins Modern Guitars

Matthew discovered his love of guitars after hearing Yngwie Malmsteen run herd over his scalloped-neck Stratocaster. By practicing more than 8 hours a day for years, Matthew gained enough speed and talent to be named one of the "Fastest Guitar Players of All Time" by Guitar World magazine (July 2008). His shred work is a as articulate and frenetic as it gets and can be heard on his solo albums that include: Neoclassical Rock Guitar, and Neoclassical Rock Guitar Part 2.

His latest release, Neoclassical Spirit features playing by top shred masters Joe Stump and George Bellas. The album Neoclassical Rock Guitar was the #1 top seller on the Neoclassical Metal section of Guitar Nine Records for 2005 and Number 2 "Best Neoclassical Seller" for 2006 . Matthew's solos can also be heard on Pig Destroyers' 2004 release Terrifyer. He's deeply immersed in his own instrumental group, as well as the band Forgotten Realm. Matthew Mills is a Schecter Guitar Research endorsed artist.
