January 29, 2008Win Keith Urban's Greatest Hits CD from Modern Guitarsby Staff.
His self-titled American album debuted in 1999 and produced three top 5 hits. He won acclaim as the Top New Male Vocalist Award (2001) at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Keith was a sought after session player with guitar credits on albums by Garth Brooks, Dixie Chicks, Charlie Daniels, Emerson Drive and Paul Brandt. His guitar skills have been recognized in Australia where he has won a slew of Golden Guitar awards at the annual Tamworth Country Music Festival. More recently, Urban's musicianship was recognized when he released the single "Once in a Lifetime" that hit the Billboard country charts at number 17, the highest any country song has debuted in Billboard. The Modern Guitars giveaway offers up his first greatest hits collection released last November. The CD includes all of Urban's top 10 hit tunes including "Got It Right This Time (The Celebration)" and "Romeo's Tune." This contest has ended. The three winners were: Betsy Jane Murphy, Tonya Schooley and Mike Acker. Note: Modern Guitars does NOT compile lists of either email or snail mail addresses (or telephone numbers).
