September 19, 2007Four Year Strong Release Debut Album "Rise Or Die Trying"Press release I Surrender Records is proud to announce the release of Four Year Strong's album Rise Or Die Trying. Their highly anticipated debut, out September 18, comes on the heels of two self-released EP's, which URB Magazine praised for their ability to "blend catchy pop hooks with bruise-inducing hardcore". Produced by Nik Tyler and Matt Robnett (The Starting Line), Rise Or Die Trying perfectly captures the band's signature sound: a combination of pop-punk and hardcore, topped with a layer of synths that is equal parts melody and mayhem. This combination of brutal breakdowns and soaring choruses combines to create an album that Absolute Punk declares, "an absolute treat for the ears." Others agree; the Worchester, MA, five-piece was just chosen for an MTV You Hear It First feature, to coincide with the Joey Borden (Armor For Sleep, As Tall As Lions) produced video for their first single "Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die." Ready to showcase new material from their release, the band is currently on tour with The Starting Line and will be on the road through the fall.
