Heritage Guitar Inc. to be Sold?

A story just published by the Kalamazoo Gazette claims that Heritage Guitar may soon be sold. Says the Gazette article: "'We're selling it,' said Marvin Lamb, one of four co-owners. Lamb started with Gibson in 1956 and was the factory's superintendent from 1974 until Gibson left for Nashville, Tenn." Lamb is also quoted in the article saying he thinks the company will most likely remain in Kalamazoo, but will know for sure "in a few days." According to the company's website, "Heritage has not closed its doors indefinitely. During the last week there have been many meetings to deal with how to structure the company to deal with its large amount of backorders. During the period these meetings are taking place, we have turned on our answering machine."
