Yellowcard To Kick Off MySpace HEY – PLAY THIS! All-Request Live Webcast Concert Series

MySpace invites you to catch the live webcast of Yellowcard’s first ever Hey –Play This! concert produced by CenterStaging on Monday August 13th at 5 p.m. PT, 8 p.m. ET. The band will perform tracks off their brand new album Paper Wall live for an intimate gathering of their biggest MySpace fans.

Viewers at home can send their song requests via MySpace IM directly to the band and watch the live video stream on MySpace TV as well as on Yellowcard’s MySpace profile http://myspace.com/yellowcard.To participate, add username yellowcard to your Contact List in MySpaceIM and send your request.

For a chance to be in the studio with Yellowcard send an email to yellowcardplaythis@yahoo.com with your name, MySpace URL, address and phone number. To be eligible you must have Yellowcard in your top friends.

With more than 280 thousand friends and 6 million profile views Yellowcard is no stranger to MySpace. The band emerged from Jacksonville, Florida with an original blend of rock and pop unlike anything on the market and, in 2003, released their first album titled Ocean Avenue. The album sold more than 2.5 million copies, propelling Yellowcard into music stardom.

The HEY-PLAY THIS concert series utilizes MySpace IM to give the MySpace online Community direct access to their favorite artists and the opportunity to interact in a way that was previously impossible. Other artists previously featured include Ben Folds and Velvet Revolver.
