PRS Guitars First Ever “Experience PRS” Open House

Paul Reed Smith Guitars has announced details on the first ever “Experience PRS” Open House, a guitar field day catering to authorized PRS dealers/distributors and their PRS Guitars enthusiast customers from around the world. The event will be held at PRS’ Stevensville , MD facility, Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29 and will include PRS artist performances, a Friday night concert, various guitar demonstrations, seminars, archive displays, interactive factory tours, food, beverages and much more. PRS guitars, new model releases and special PRS model runs will be on display, making for the largest number of PRS guitars ever shown in the US in one spot.

To ensure proper flow at the event, consumers who are interested in attending must register through their respective dealers (to find a dealer in your area visit www.prsguitars.com/dealer.asp). Further information on “Experience PRS” can be obtained by contacting your PRS Guitars representative, your authorized PRS dealer or by reviewing Paul’s personal letter of invitation posted online (coming soon). Event registration and hotel reservations for PRS’ block of rooms should be made no later than August 20 to ensure availability. Early registration is strongly suggested as space is extremely limited.

PRS artists including Dan Toler of the Allman brothers, David Grissom (Dixie Chicks and Storyville), Chris Henderson of 3 Doors Down, Mark Tremonti and Miles Kennedy of Alter Bridge, Johnny Hiland, Gary Grainger and Derek St. Holmes. In addition to these scheduled guitar maven performances and clinics, PRS will host interactive factory tours, archive seminars, one-on-one consultations with Paul Smith and Joe Knaggs, Director of R&D and Private Stock, and many other unique activities and photo opportunities. Joe Knaggs will also demonstrate guitar carving techniques, giving those attending a glimpse into what it is like to build a coveted Private Stock guitar by hand.
