Photo Gallery: Haynes, Trucks and Allman at Newport Folk Fest

Fans at Saturday's edition of the 2007 Dunkin' Donuts Newport Folk Festival were treated to a full two-hour set of classic Southern roots rock by the Allman Brothers Band featuring guitarists Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks, with founding member Gregg Allman on keyboards. The three-day festival (August 3-5) took place in Newport, Rhode Island, at two venues. August 3 saw headliner Linda Ronstadt at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, part of the Newport Casino. On Saturday and Sunday, the festival moved to three stages at the Fort Adams State Park, with the Allman Brothers headling on Saturday (guitarist Tom Morellow also appeared on Saturday as the acoustic Nightwatchman) and Alison Krauss & Union Station (featuring dobro ace Jerry Douglas) and Emmylou Harris the main events on Sunday.
