Fender Goes Tiki with Unquiet Village Guitar at 2007 Summer NAMM

by Staff.

Summertime, and the living is...outdoor and mobile. Fender wants to get the patio party moving with its Tiki-Coustic "Unquiet Village" guitar. Mai Tai anyone? This is a limited edition acoustic that bears the artwork of Doug Horne.

Fender Unquiet Village, Limited Tiki Series
Put on an old Les Baxter LP, mix a Mai Tai, sit back and strum your new Tiki-Coustic and dig the soothing South Seas sounds of the “Unquiet Village” model. A limited edition run of 600 pieces worldwide, the Unquiet Village Tiki-Coustic sprang from the colorfully madcap mind of tiki artist extraordinaire Doug Horne (www.swampfirelounge.com). Features include one-of-a-kind artwork, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, Fishman preamp and a vibe that will make it feel like summer all year long. U.S. MSRP: $569.99
