Gretsch Introduces New Guitars at 2007 Summer NAMM

Building on its almost 125 years of history and tradition, Gretsch will introduce two forward looking models at the 2007 Summer NAMM Show today. With a look reminiscent of its Gretsch hollowbody predecessors, the G6134T-LTV White Penguin is a dual pickup solidbody. Jazz players will find the 100CE and G100CEBK Synchromatic Acoustic Electric Archtop of special interest.

This is the White Penguin in “Full Frill” mode packed with the most coveted options, like a Gold Bigsby Vibrato Tailpiece, TV Jones Classic pickups, Inlaid Neo Classical Thumbnail Position Markers, Gold Sparkle Bound Fingerboard and Headstock, Multiple Body Binding with Gold Sparkles and Adjustable Truss Rod. 100CE and G100CEBK Synchromatic Acoustic Electric Archtop
Reminiscent of the early Synchromatics of the 1940’s, the new G100CE features a Gretsch® Pickup, separate Volume and Tone knobs, chromatic tailpiece, aged pearloid block inlays, vintage headstock logo, and compensated bridge. This archtop acoustic/electric features a simple and elegant ‘40s design with spruce top; maple sides and back; maple neck; rosewood fingerboard; Gretsch pickup, chromatic bridge and tailpiece.
