Taylor Guitars to Reveal Fall Limited Editions and Koa Series at 2007 Summer NAMM

Taylor Guitars will unveil several models at the 2007 Summer NAMM Show that opens tomorrow in Austin, Texas, and runs through Sunday, July 29. They include a number of models from two Taylor lines, the Fall Limited Editions, which this year features, among others, a Limited Edition T5 that is the first all-maple guitar from Taylor; and, the Koa Series, which is back due to Taylor Guitars having found a new source for tropical Koa tonewood.

2007 FALL LIMITED EDITIONS

Acoustic Guitars
The GS4-LTD is the first satin-finished Grand Symphony, with back and sides of Tasmanian blackwood and Sitka spruce top. Available with optional Expression System® pickup.

Acoustic Electric Guitars
Four of our best-selling “ce” models with tonewood upgrades. All Acoustic/Electric Fall Limiteds have Sitka spruce tops, Venetian cutaway and 2007 Expression System.

Electric Guitars
The first Limited Edition T5s and the very first all-maple guitars from Taylor. Big Leaf maple body, Hard Rock maple neck, quilted (curly) maple top, 600 Series fretboard inlay. Special Limited Edition color finishes: Vintage Honey Sunburst and Vintage Cherry Sunburst (top only).

2007 KOA SERIES

Taylor’s Koa Series returns, thanks to new sourcing for this rare tropical tonewood! Koa Series guitars have solid Hawaiian koa backs and sides and Sitka spruce tops.

Acoustic/Electrics
Performance-ready, with the Expression System and Venetian cutaway. Curly maple binding on the body, fingerboard, soundhole and peghead. Curly maple heel cap. Abalone Koa Series fretboard inlay pattern.
