Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp

Gibson Guitar, the world’s premiere musical instrument manufacturer and leader in music technology announces that it is once again supporting the US music phenomenon Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp which arrives in the UK. Past American Fantasy Camps has seen rock icons such as Roger Daltrey, Brian Wilson and Kiss’ Paul Stanley teach campers how to perform like a rock star.

The Rock ‘N Roll Fantasy Camp is a once in a lifetime chance for fans to jam with Rock legends including Bill Wyman (Ex-The Rolling Stones), Jack Bruce (Cream), Gary Brooker (Procol Harum), Paul Carrack (Squeeze, Mike and the Mechanics) Simon Kirke (Bad Company & Free), Mick Ralph (Bad Company & Free), Bruce Kulick (KISS), Spencer Davis (Spencer Davis Group), Neil Murray (Whitesnake & Black Sabbath), Spike Edney (Queen).

‘Campers’ will be put through their paces as these rock luminaries, veteran music industry pros and famed studio players transform them from budding amateur musicians to rock stars. Where better to put rock legends than the most famous recording studio in the world, Abbey Road Studios in London!

From dawn to dusk campers will eat, drink and play with the stars as they enjoy one-on-one master classes and late night jam sessions. Campers will be put in bands with rock star “counsellors”, rehearsing the campers, collaborating and creating music as genuine rock stars performing on a selection of Gibson electric and acoustic guitars as well as a Rolling Thunder Slingerland drum kit. The rehearsals will conclude with a Battle of the Bands at Abbey Road.

On 29th May, campers will also have the opportunity to perform at the world famous birthplace of The Beatles, The Cavern Club in Liverpool, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year!

Camp counselor and rock legend, Roger Daltrey of The Who said: “I feel quite passionate about anything that encourages people in music, It’s great seeing people with such enthusiasm having fun even though they’re all of different abilities! They all rise to the occasion, it’s fantastic!”

Tickets are on sale now through the 24-hour hotline 0845 094 3256 or online at www.rockandrollfantasycamp.com. Tickets are £8000.

Space is limited so book early.
