Based on John Sykes' 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom that Sykes has used throughout his almost 30 year career. "The guitar has seen a lot of blood, sweat, and teaers," John marvels, "I've played it for 26 years, and I wouldn't sell it for a million bucks." The Gibson Custom Shop has re-created the guitar Sykes used during his whirlwind years with Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy.

- Flat carved maple top and solid mahogany back

- Multi-ply white/black binding on top and back

- Aged chrome hardware

- Aluminum Nashville TOM bridge/ stopbar tailpiece

- Mirror pickguard and metal chrome switchmaster with no switch tip

- Aged ebony finish

Neck & Headstock:

- 3-piece maple neck with short neck tenon

- Rounded neck profile with single-ply white binding

- 24 3/4” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width

- 22 fret ebony fingerboard

- Chrome Gover kidney bean tuners

- Brass nut and '70s-style Gibson headstock logo

Electronics & Strings:

- Gibson Dirty Fingers exposed humbucking pickups with chrome mounting ring in bridge position

- '57 Classic exposed humbucking pickup with chrome mounting ring in neck position

- 2 volume, 2 tone ((true to John's Les Paul, the lead tone control is disabled), 3-way selector switch

- Vintage Reissue .010 strings
