FMIC Promotes Layne Kurr to National Sales Manager

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Layne Kurr to National Sales Manager. In this position, the 17-year FMIC veteran will lead all United States and Canadian sales teams.

"Fender was extremely fortunate to have the depth of talent and the industry experience of a 17-year veteran to draw from during our search to find the right person for this important position,” said Alan Waite, Senior Vice President Domestic Sales for FMIC. “Layne's knowledge, passion and experience will serve him well. His staff and clientele will benefit greatly.”

Kurr had previously served as Midwest Regional Sales Manager for FMIC. He first joined FMIC as a District Sales Manager in 1990, and was later promoted to Regional Sales Manager.
