The organizers of the 30th Annual Dallas International Guitar Festival once again proved their point: There's no such thing as too much guitar. Show attendees feasted eyes and ears on a star-studded gathering of both rare and vintage instruments and some of the finest guitar talent in the world on hand to perform over the three day event (April 20-22, 2007) held at the Dallas Market Hall in Dallas, Texas.

One of the main attractions at this year's festival was the Holy Grail Exhibition, a display featuring Eric Clapton’s “Blackie,” the most expensive guitar ever auctioned, Clapton’s Gibson ES-335 from Cream, the first Telecaster ever made, Leo Fender and Gibson’s original patent drawings, the 1936 D45s first Jumbo Martin Guitar (valued at $500,000), Jimi Hendrix’s Strat, guitars from Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Lenny” and his signature black hat, and Pete Townshend’s “Flying V”.

Below are performance photos of Eric Johnson (2005 interview), Joe Bonamassa (2006 interview), Johnny A. (2006 interview), Gary Hoey (2007 interview), and Rick Vito, who were part of Saturday's entertainment lineup.
