Bubbles, The Diva and Napoleon

L-R: Bubbles, The Diva, and Napoleon

With the recent announcement of Godin Guitars becoming the official exclusive guitar sponsor of the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, the Canadian manufacturer has since sent some of their finest instruments to be a part of the tour bus to help spread music education to thousands of students across the country.

Godin Guitars is providing the bus with numerous instruments spanning all four of their series of guitars, including renowned models from the Performance, Signature, Multiac and A-Series. Students will be able to create their own music using the industry leading 13-pin connection technology found in guitars such as the Godin LGX-SA, XTSA, Multiac Nylon SA, Freeway SA and A5 SA fretless bass. Other models include the Freeway 4 bass, the retro Godin Triumph, A8 Mandolin and the heavy tones of the LG EMG, as well as a Performer CW GT from the company’s Seagull brand of acoustic guitars.

The guitars have definitely found a happy home on the bus. The staff has given each model their own playful nicknames. From the A8 Mandolin known as “Napoleon”, to the Triumph Red Sparkle known as “The Diva” and the LGX-SA known as “Bubbles”, these guitars are ready to help the visiting kids get creative while making music.

Also, the LG EMG’s are to be featured in the first round of guitars donated by Godin to be featured on local area radio spots as on-air prizes, coinciding with various tour stops and events such as the Warped Tour.

The students will have the pleasure of both playing and recording with the guitars provided by Godin while visiting the tour bus. The non-profit John Lennon Educational Tour Bus travels across the US stopping at various schools and events throughout the country encouraging students to play music through hands on studio time. The students are given the opportunity to write, perform, and record an original musical composition and then shoot their own music video – all in one day.
