Legendary guitar player, innovator and performer, Les Paul, has selected Future Sonics Ear Monitors® brand custom personal monitors, Sennheiser microphones/wireless and Hear Technologies® systems for his live concert performances after consulting with Future Sonics for the best sounding and complete solutions for his performances. After evaluating each product and brand of this type, and in addressing the specific needs for each show, Future Sonics president, Marty Garcia, was on-site to create the full production package.

The system includes:
• Future Sonics Ear Monitors® brand personal monitors (professional earphones)
• Hear Technologies MixBackTM and HearBack® systems
• Sennheiser Evolution® Wireless Personal Monitor system
• Sennheiser MKH microphones
• Neumann KMS105 Microphone

"Les Paul contacted us four years ago to discuss the concept of personal monitoring and "we got deep into the technology during many phone conversations, meetings at his home and at his performances," reports Garcia. Continuing, "We began to evaluate many of the current earphone products and introduced Les to the Future Sonics custom miniature single dynamic transducer that easily outperformed any of the armature-based products – even those with multiple driver configurations." Garcia continues to consult with Paul and his staff to provide the most appropriate monitoring solutions and to offer the best audio quality possible.

"The sound is better than anything I've heard before - they sound like my favorite studio monitors...” – Les Paul

About Les Paul
Born on June 9, 1915 in Waukesha Wisconsin, artist, producer, engineer and composer, Les Paul has numerous hit records that traverse several generations. He continues to be one of America's most unique, innovative and influential people of both the 20th and 21st centuries. In addition to his inductions into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The National Inventors Hall of Fame, and The Songwriters Hall of Fame, he is a seven-time Grammy® Award winner – receiving two of them in 2006 for his release, American Made World Played.

While Les Paul's original studio techniques and devices (including multi-track recording, sound on sound, overdubbing and reverb effects) paved the way for the very first electric music that are the foundation for all recording and live performances today, the most recognizable breakthrough is his creation of the first solid-body electric guitar. The "Les Paul" name is synonymous with the best instruments in the world and, quite literally, the timeless signature product that guitar players of all genres aspire to possess. The Les Paul brand of Gibson Guitars is one of the best selling and most widely used guitars worldwide.

Mr. Paul continues to play on Monday nights at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City where legendary musicians Steve Miller, Tony Bennett, Jeff Beck, Paul McCartney, Keith Richards, Brian May and many others have come to perform with, and pay homage to, the man known as "The Father of the Electric Guitar."
