Press release

Rock legend, entrepreneur, tequila aficionado, owner of the Cabo Wabo Cantinas-- and now soon to be Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee-- Sammy Hagar invites fans to join him once again for the 2nd Annual “Are We Having Any Fun Yet™” Cruise that will make stops in Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan, Mexico and eventually come ashore in Cabo San Lucas to meet him for rockin’ live performances and infamous Cabo Wabo partying.  “I promise it will be even more fun than the first one,” promises Hagar.

In what is sure to be another unforgettable experience, the cruise will offer fans the opportunity to vacation and party Cabo Wabo style.  Not only will Sammy’s passengers be treated to private live performances by The Wabos with special guests Aaron Hagar & Michael Anthony while onboard but will also have the rare opportunity to see Sammy Hagar and The Wabos perform at Sammy’s world famous Cabo Wabo Cantina® in Cabo San Lucas.  Included in the exclusive package are a cocktail party, karaoke night, as well as special Cabo Wabo menu items onboard.  There will also be an opportunity to participate in an auction of unique Sammy Hagar mementos that are not otherwise available to the public.  The auction, which will benefit the child advocacy organization Friends of Children in Northampton, Massachusetts, will include a Birthday Bash package with hotel and dinner accommodations in Cabo San Lucas for one lucky winner and a guest.

The cruise, scheduled for March 11 thru 18 on The Carnival Pride, departs from Long Beach, California and commences with a welcome cocktail party.  During the cruise, Sammy’s passengers will enjoy a private concert with Aaron Hagar & The Wabos as well as a separate performance from Michael Anthony and The Wabos.  On March 14th, the ship stops in Puerto Vallarta and the following day in Mazatlan where there will be a picnic that fans can participate in.  The cruise will also include a “Meet The Wabos” question and answer session as well as what is sure to be an eventful “Wabolympics” with Michael Anthony and The Wabos.  When the ship docks in Cabo San Lucas on Friday, March 16th, Sammy’s passengers will be greeted by the one and only “Sambassador”--  Sammy himself, and guided to the Cabo Wabo Cantina where the party of a lifetime will begin with none other than a welcome shot of Cabo Wabo Tequila.  Sammy and the Wabos will storm the stage!  With the Cabo Wabo® premium tequila flowing and the music going, all Sammy’s friends are sure to enjoy a Cabo Wabo vacation and a concert experience they will never forget.
