Alfred Publishing and Daisy Rock Guitars have planned exciting events every day of the 2007 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, January 18-21.

National Guitar Workshop / Alfred Partnership Celebration

Join the National Guitar Workshop and Alfred Publishing at Alfred’s NAMM booth to celebrate the 15th year of this successful partnership! Representatives from both companies will be there and Alfred will be serving cake and refreshments to visitors.

Piano Author Dr. E. L. Lancaster at the Alfred Booth

If you’ve ever studied piano, chances are you own a book written by Dr. E.L. Lancaster! Dr. Lancaster is the author or co-author of more than 125 publications designed for students of all ages, including the world’s fastest-growing piano method, Alfred’s Premier Piano Course. He’s a regular writer for the "Questions and Answers" column for Clavier magazine and also serves as a consulting editor. As an educator, Dr. Lancaster was a Professor of Music at the University of Oklahoma, Norman for over 20 years. He has also presented workshops for teachers throughout the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Dr. Lancaster will be at Alfred’s booth all day on both Thursday and Friday. Be sure to stop by and say hello!

Publications, which was acquired by Alfred in 2005. Dan has worked with world-famous composers and artists such as John Williams, Burt Bacharach, Elton John and Jim Brickman, who have expressed total faith in his arrangements. Dan's unique talent to create arrangements from popular titles has gained international acclaim. With his ear for the hits, Dan knows what works and sounds the best for piano students.
