The XDS95

The XDS95

X2 Digital Wireless, Inc. announced today that the XDS95 is now shipping through authorized dealers. The XDS95 is a multi-channel digital UHF wireless system designed specifically for performing or recording musicians. As the first and only digital UHF wireless system for musical applications, the XDS95 provides unprecedented sound quality and freedom due to it’s companderless design, 24-bit conversion and digital RF modulation. Additionally, by operating in the Frequency-Clear™ 900 MHz band, the system is free from HDTV interference and FCC licensing concerns.

“We are very excited to bring such an advanced wireless instrument system to market and to meet our projected delivery date gives me great satisfaction,” said Guy Coker, CEO of X2.

The XDS95’s specifications and features include: 24-bit digital conversion yielding 117 dB dynamic range; frequency response from 20 Hz to 12 KHz for thundering lows and expressive highs; complete elimination of compander ICs and their associated negative side-effects; internally mounted antennas on all components; 1/4" stereo output for instrument and full-bandwidth or 'tuner out' applications; five user-selectable channels allows up to five systems to operate simultaneously free from any adjacent channel crosstalk. What’s more, the unique 'effects pedal' styled receiver chassis has the ability to operate either on a single 9V alkaline battery or the widely popular PSA120 style power supply making the system a perfect addition to any pedal-board setup.

The XDS95 has an SRP of $499.
