Elvis Presley Acoustic Guitar

On the 29th November 2006, The Fame Bureau is pleased to announce the “It’s More Than Rock‘n’Roll” auction at Sound, Leicester Square, WC2.

The Fame Bureau is the Worlds most progressive organisation dedicated to unearthing a treasure trove of international memorabilia. Their unparalleled network of international contacts, suppliers and experts places them at the forefront of this exciting field.

The Auction will consist of a breathtaking 160 lots, including many unique, exclusive and never before seen pieces such as Madonna’s infamous ‘cone’ black satin bustier worn on her “Who’s that Girl” tour, the original Rolling Stones Tongue artwork, Elvis Presley’s 1960’s Cherry Sunburst guitar owned and signed by The King, John Lennon’s legendary ‘Beatles’ beige mohair 1963 stage suit worn at the London Palladium, John Bonham’s personally owned and played Led Zeppelin drum kit, and for the first time ever being brought to auction, Marvin Gaye’s personally owned handwritten musical manuscripts for many of his greatest hits and so much more.

Forbes Magazine recently featured an article showing that Rock and Pop Memorabilia are fast becoming one of the Worlds most popular and lucrative investment opportunities. A recent UK study showed that over 26% of the population are investing in entertainment collectables instead of contributing to Pension funds.
