SXSW 2007 Music Festival Showcase Application Deadline

The final application deadline for performing artists from the United States interested in appearing at the 2007 SXSW Music Festival Showcase is November 10, 2006. The deadline has passed for acts from outside the U.S. Applications can be submitted online here. Next year's festival takes place March 14-18 in Austin, Texas. Festival Showcase performers will appear on one of 60 stages during the five night event before an audience of music industry professionals such as label execs, journalists, publicists, radio programmers and club owners. Alternative country, bluegrass, blues, country, DJ, electronic, experimental, hip-hop, jazz, Latin, metal, pop, rock, punk, singer/songwriter, world, and reggae are among the genres featured at SXSW.
