Guitar Memorabilia Becomes Fashionable

Think your collection of Gibson memorabilia is complete? Not yet. French fashion label April 77 has announced a line of designer jeans bearing the Gibson Guitar logo. The black unisex pants will be available at select stores December, 2006, in London, Tokyo, and Paris (at Colette). Collectors take note: only 500 pairs of the jeans will be sold, each of them numbered, and packaged in an authentic Gibson guitar-style case. Fashionable derrieres aren't the only place you'll see the Gibson logo in Paris this holiday season, clothing boutique Zadig & Voltaire is showcasing its winter 2006 collection with a variety of Gibson guitars.
