Virgin Atlantic and Gibson Guitar Offer Pre-flight Lessons

Gibson Guitar and air carrier Virgin Atlantic want to take your guitar playing to a higher level. Literally. Throughout October, 2006, Upper Class passengers who visit Virgin Atlantic's Heathrow Clubhouse (Friday - Sunday) can attend guitar classes from Pete Southern (Balance of Power), courtesy of Gibson Guitar, while waiting for their flights. According to Alison Copus, Director of Marketing for Virgin Atlantic, "I am sure we have some frustrated rock gods amongst our Upper Class passengers, so it should go down well.” A variety of acoustic and electric guitars will be on display in the Clubhouse's Sky Lounge for passengers who miss the lesson.
