Alright now...legendary '60s rock group Free were in town to promote their long awaited DVD release marking the 30th anniversary since the death of their lead guitarist Paul Kossoff. The double disc DVD entitled Free Forever hits the shops on September 18, 2006, along with their double disc CD The Very Best of Free. Gibson SG bass player Andy Fraser and drummer Simon Kirke dropped by the Gibson Guitar showroom in London to sign 18 Epiphone Les Paul Specials. These Epiphone guitars will be placed in national media worldwide to support the DVD Free Forever.

Following the guitar signing, Andy Fraser and Simon Kirke attended a special play back of the band's history to specially invited fans at London’s Glass Bar. An enthusiastic question and answer session followed the screenings, which spanned their career, including some anecdotes on the highs and lows of life on the Free road.

The Very Best of Free contains all the classic hits including "All Right Now", "Heartbreaker", "Heavy Load" and "Wishing Well". The album also boasts live recordings of "Trouble on Double Time", "Mr Big", "The Hunter", "Fire and Water" and "Crossroads".
