On the Air: "Classical Guitar Alive!"

This week's edition of the Classical Guitar Alive! radio program, hosted by Tony Morris, celebrates National Classical Music Month (September, U.S.) with a Pepe Romero interview and the broadcast of Bizet's "Carmen Suite: Prelude" performed by Los Romeros and Pepe Romero's rendition of "Three Venezuelan Waltzes" by Antonio Lauro. Recordings by guitarists Paul Galbraith, Kazuhito Yamashita, and Erling Moldrup are also featured in this edition of the program. Classical Guitar Alive!, now in its tenth year, is broadcast weekly by over 200 stations in the U.S., throughout Europe via the European Broadcasting Union, and online courtesy of radio station KMFA (FM 89.5, Austin, Texas), which also offers a program archive.
