Powerman 5000 Continue Tour in Support of New Album

Powerman 5000--Spider (vocals), Johnny Heatley (guitar), Terry Corso (guitar), Siggy (bass), Adrian Ost (drums)--is currently criss-crossing the U.S. in support of their highly anticipated DESTROY WHAT YOU ENJOY album, their fourth studio album and first for DRT Entertainment, due out August 1. The first single, “Wild World,” took radio by storm making it the #6 Most Added track at Active Rock radio its first week out according to Radio & Records, beating out new songs by AFI, Crossfade and Lamb of God. The album was produced by Mudrock (Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack), who also co-produced the band’s major label debut, MEGA!! KUNG FU RADIO, and was recorded at the Hobby Shop in Eagle Rock, CA. The album was mixed by Dave Schiffman (Audioslave, Johnny Cash, System of a Down).

Included in the trek will be a special appearance at Club NARM on Thursday, August 3 in Kissimmee, FL at the Gaylord Palms Resort as part of the annual NARM convention. They’re also set to perform at Tower Records in West Hollywood, CA on August 8 at 7pm, co-presented by INDIE 103.1, to celebrate the album’s release and sign autographs for fans in attendance.
