Gibson Guitar Names Charles E. Cuneo Its Chief Operating Officer

Gibson Guitar, the world’s premiere musical instrument manufacturer, announced the appointment of Charles E. Cuneo as Chief Operating Officer based at the company’s headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. In his new role Cuneo will oversee all operational functions on a global basis for the company.

Charles Cuneo was most recently President and Chief Operating Officer for NeuMath, Inc, a developer of software solutions. Prior to his work at NeuMath Inc., Cuneo held several other positions which included President and Chief Operating Officer for Unitek Benchmark, a manufacturer of hermetic sealing systems for microelectronics, an independent subsidiary of Unitek Miyachi Corp., where he addressed new market opportunities. Prior to that Cuneo was President, CEO and Founder of Central Outpost, an Internet-based provider of phone and wireless automated group notification. Prior to starting his own company he was Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service for Microscript Inc., an enterprise application integration software company.

Earlier in his career Cuneo held senior marketing and manufacturing positions at Millipore Corporation, ADE Corporation, Credence Systems and Teradyne, Inc. He is a graduate of Yale University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School where he concentrated on marketing and international business
