Jean Welles

Jean Welles

As Home Educators from all over the State pack into the Ontario, California Convention Center, Friday, July 7, Guitar Coach Jean Welles gets ready to make good on her boast that she can teach almost anyone to play the guitar in 7 minutes.

“I have helped over 100,000 people learn to play the guitar through private lessons and my series, "Jean Welles Worship Guitar Class(tm), says Welles. I look forward to teaching as many of the over 3000 home school students expected this weekend at CHEA’s event.”

California’s largest Home school Fair is put on by "The Christian Home Educators Association of California," (CHEA) a non-profit ministry established in 1982 to provide information, support, and training to the home education community throughout the state.

Welles, who has been teaching Guitar lessons for over 30 years, is excited to be among the participants this year at CHEA. “This is a great chance to inspire young minds to learn to play a musical instrument, shares Welles. Even if you have never picked up or played any instrument before, I can teach you the basics in just 7 minutes.”

Because of the demand for lessons and the limits of her time, Welles has created the, Jean Welles Worship Guitar Class(tm), a series of DVDs and Videos that make it easy to learn to play the guitar at home. Combining familiar Christian worship songs, excellent technique & step-by-step instruction in each set.

Whole families are learning to play worship songs on the guitar together from this series. Hundreds of churches use the DVD’s & Videos to train up new worship leaders. Books are available for classroom settings. This is perfect for the busy person who desires to learn worship songs on the guitar. The lessons can fit into anyone’s schedule.

Jean has a Masters Degree in Guitar Performance from USC and she participated in dozens of Master’s classes. She has taught and coached guitar students for over 30 years and is a worship leader in the greater Los Angeles area. In 2001 she produced the first Worship Guitar Class Video. She combined years of training and technical expertise with face-to-face practical teaching experience to make a product people learn with. Her DVD’s & Videos are now used in 50 countries. If you miss CHEA, you can still learn how to play by going to www.thefreelesson.com.
