June 15, 2006PRS Guitars Sponsors NASA Racing Event at Summit Point RacewayPress release
PRS Guitars has teamed up with WHFS of Baltimore to promote Hyperfest. There will be a pre-event Drift demonstration on June 30 at “Lot B” of Camden Yards in Baltimore, MD. PRS will be on hand with U.S Drift for a glimpse into the “Fast and Furious” sport of drifting. Thrill seekers will be able to strap into a drift car with a professional driver for the ride of a lifetime. The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center will once again be on site to raise awareness for their programs. The demo will start at 6:00 pm and conclude at 9:00. WHFS will be on site broadcasting live. On July 8, the main event at Summit Point will get underway at 8:00 am. Racing, driving events and vendor displays will be ongoing throughout the day. On track competition culminates with the US Drift Nationals followed by a concert by the Baltimore Reggae band “Colouring Lesson”. Admission is $20.00. PRS Guitars will have an interactive guitar display at the event and raffle tickets for a PRS guitar will be sold throughout the day with proceeds benefiting cancer patients and their families at the Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
