Continuing with the mission to bring innovative guitar design and craftsmanship to the attention of the international music community, No Island Media has partnered with Duesenberg USA to include the Duesenberg Starplayer TV and the Violin Bass in a single episode of The Search for the Perfect Guitar Tone.

"Our mission is connection," says Dina Walker, Executive Producer for No Island. "The Search For The Perfect Guitar Tone provides a forum where musicians can interact with each other, tell their stories and interact with the world's best instruments. The series was founded on the idea of less hype and more music. That is a mission that is shared by all of the manufacturers being profiled in this series."

"Music thrives when there are real choices, real options and real interaction," says Trevor Andrews, Executive Director of No Island Media. "We are all aware of the obvious brands that consistently dominate the market. It has been our mission for day one to focus on brands that are revolutionary. We are concerned with exploring the options that are defining the next stage of evolution for guitar tone, performance and recording.

"Connecting innovative musicians to innovative instrument builders adds life to the stories of both. it enriches us all- from players to producers to music lovers. Duesenberg exemplifies the new wave of guitar excellence and I am excited to find out what stories it evokes from the many artists participating with us this season."

The Duesenberg episode of The Search For The Perfect Guitar Tone will feature musicians from diverse musical idioms, from several countries, and at various stages of their career. The Duesenberg Vioin Bass will be featured in 10 episodes, out of 22, in Season One of the programme.

ABOUT DUESENBERG USA
Duesenberg Guitars has continued to be greeted by some of the greatest artist of our generation. Musicians such as Artist Great Elvis Costello who says that Duesenberg creates “Real Mojo and Vibe” and Music Legend Taj Mahal that “Duesenberg brings out the lost music in him.” This past year we have seen our guitars impact the music industry one person and artist at a time. Seeing new friends coming on board the likes of Slash and Duff Mckagan and carrying on the tradition of Ronnie Wood playing a Duesenberg, Keith Richards has joined the Duesenberg-Family and is jamming with his new Duesenbergs on tour.

The Duesenberg line of guitars and basses are designed by Dieter Goelsdorf and are built with our distinctive sound and feel that sets Duesenberg apart. Our goal remains to be one of the finest sounding and playing guitars in the world. And with artists such as the Blind Boys of Alabama and Dierks Bentley and Colin Hay we are seeing a diversified spread of music being played and written with our full line of Duesenberg Guitars & Basses. Not very many artists play a new guitar, most reach back to a vintage guitar to play live or while recording. Duesenberg is a guitar that is not only being played by some of the greatest of our time, but the Duesenberg sound is impacting songs heard by millions.
