Paul Reed Smith Guitars and the National Corvette Museum are hosting the American Sports Car Corral later this month at the 29th running of the Walter Mitty Historic Sports Car Challenge at Road Atlanta. PRS instruments and historically significant Corvette racecars from the past will be exhibited for the duration of the event April 28-30 in Braselton, Georgia. This event, considered to be THE vintage race to attend in the South, combines great racing, amazing cars in the paddock and infield, friendly people, and the wonderful sights and sounds of Road Atlanta. Chevrolet will also be displaying a new Z06 in the PRS area, and a Le Mans blue PRS Corvette Standard guitar will be presented to the owner of the most significant American sports car.

PRS Guitars has begun their second year as sponsors of the world dominating factory C6-R Corvette race team. The C6-R, which competes nationally in the American LeMans Series, has dominated world competition at the 24 Hours of LeMans for two years, following on the heels of the immensely successful C5-R program that began in 1999.

In addition to great Corvettes past and present, the PRS/National Corvette Museum display will feature several PRS Corvette Standard guitars, PRS apparel and an interactive guitar display in partnership with iVideotunes, an Atlanta based company. Representatives from the National Corvette Museum and PRS Guitars will be on site throughout the three-day event. Attendees with a valid driver’s license can also get behind the wheel of a Mini or Lotus Elise on the infield autocross on a first come first serve basis.
