Madonna Strums the Sound of Music

Market researchers want to know who plays the guitar, but maybe the question should be, "Who doesn't?" The London-based Material Girl was inspired to take guitar lessons to strum songs from The Sound of Music to her two children and worked with teacher Bobby Tider three times a week for four months. Her husband, movie director Guy Ritchie was also a student of Tider who says, "She was very good and worked very hard. You have to put in the hours. Guy was slow but Madonna was a good pupil." Story.
