Tucky Buzzard Compilation Released by Sanctuary Records

Press release
Source: Chipster Entertainment, Inc.

The British band Tucky Buzzard earned attention when it was discovered, managed and produced by Rolling Stones bass guitarist Bill Wyman.

Tucky Buzzard's rare first three albums -- 1971's 'Tucky Buzzard,' 1972's 'Warm Slash' and 1972's 'Coming On Again' -- are finally making their U.S. compact disc debut on the Sanctuary Records two-CD compilation 'Time Will Be Your Doctor: Rare Recordings 1971-1972.'
All 24 songs from these three albums are featured in their entirety. The CD booklet includes extensive liner notes, rare photos and the original album artwork.

The 'Time Will Be Your Doctor: Rare Recordings 1971-1972' track listing includes:

TUCKY BUZZARD - "Time Will Be Your Doctor," "Stainless Steel Lady," "Sally Shotgun," "Gu Gu Gu," "My Friend," "Pisces Apple Lady," "She's Meat," "Ace The Face," "Whiskey Eyes" and "Rolling Cloud."

WARM SLASH - "Mistreating Woman," "(She's A) Striker," "Fill You In," "Need Your Love," "Which Way, When For Why," "Burnin'," "Heartbreaker," "Sky Balloon" and "Ain't Too Soon."

COMING ON AGAIN - "Suite: Coming On Again (Part 1), For Maryse, Over The Hill, Coming On Again (Part 2), Believe Me, Here I Am," "You're Never Alone," "You Never Will," "Free Ticket" and "Lady Fair."

Tucky Buzzard formed in 1969 as an offshoot of the beat-boom group the End. Musically speaking, Tucky Buzzard played progressive psychedelic hard rock similar to peers such as Led Zeppelin, Humble Pie, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Grand Funk Railroad, Foghat and Rare Earth.

Rolling Stones collectors will love 'Time Will Be Your Doctor: Rare Recordings 1971-1972' above and beyond Wyman's involvement. 'Tucky Buzzard' features guest appearances from guitarist Mick Taylor (a Rolling Stones member from 1969 to 1974) and saxophonist Bobby Keys and trumpeter/trombonist Jim Price, who performed on such landmark Rolling Stones albums as 'Sticky Fingers' and 'Exile On Main St.'

'Tucky Buzzard' and 'Warm Slash' were originally released by Capitol Records. 'Coming On Again' was recorded and released only in Spain and it has been bootlegged heavily over the years; some songs feature the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra.
