Baldwin Piano to Announce Price Cuts, New Models, and Custom Finishes at Winter NAMM 2006

Baldwin Piano, known as "America's Favorite Piano" since 1862 will exhibit at NAMM 2006 in Room 204B/Level 2. The company announced a price change on several of the Baldwin Vertical models and will showcase some very innovative new models with custom finishes such as high polished pomele, bubinga, rosewood and high polished ebony with cherry accents.

Baldwin Vertical Piano Models 500, 570, 600, 2000, 243 and 248 will continue to be manufactured in Trumann, Arkansas and are available in a variety of colors including Mahogany, Cherry, Satin Ebony, High Polished Ebony, Oak and Custom Colors upon request. All will be offered at a price reduction in 2006.

Baldwin Piano will also release three Wurlitzer Digital Pianos. The models include the Black Vertical Model RP350, The Black Vertical Model RP380 and the Black Grand Model RG380. In addition Baldwin is expanding its current line of Wurlitzer Grand Pianos with various models available in Satin Ebony, High Polished Ebony, Satin Cherry, and High Polished Cherry Queen Anne style. The expansion includes Wurlitzer Models C203 (6'9"), C223 (7' 5") and C273 (9' 1").

Hamilton will exhibit a new line of Furniture Style Hamilton Verticals. Available in Oak, Mahogany and Cherry, the Hamilton 370 model is 47" and destined to become a classic.

Taking technology to increased heights in the piano manufacturing industry, Baldwin will re-release the Concert Master ATP-2 Baldwin Player Piano with additional features to play Midi files and sinc-along. The user can create 500 libraries with up to a total of 100,000 Midi File songs as a new feature in addition to the ability to use standard floppy discs and CDs.

Standing alone amongst the crowd to the delight of every NAMM guest is the Baldwin BB King Vertical,, the Les Paul Custom Baldwin Vertical Piano and the Elvis Custom Vertical Piano. All have appointments dedicated to the legendary artist and are exclusive to the Baldwin Piano Company. .The BB King inspired "Lucille" and the Elvis piano represent the creative thinking inside the Gibson company (parent company of Baldwin) and their continued determination to introduce new models to satisfy the appetites of their consumer. These new models include signature artist treatments and bright and bold new colors.

Visit Baldwin Piano at Room 204B/Level 2 at NAMM 2006. Latin musical sensations Arthur Hanlon and Lena will make regular appearances throughout the week and pianist David Jonathan Lomascola will perform Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 2pm. Baldwin has been "America's Favorite Piano" since 1862, when former music teacher D.H. Baldwin opened his music store in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the turn of the twentieth century, Baldwin pianos won international awards, and by the end of the century Baldwin was the largest American piano maker.
