Guitar Guru Mark Sternal to Release New Book at Winter NAMM 2006

Press release
Source: Isandra Gonzalez

Mark Sternal's newest and highly anticipated book GUITAR: Probable Chords, a chord key encyclopedia will be presented during the 2006 NAMM Show which will be held in Anaheim, CA. Mark himself will be available for interviews throughout the length of the NAMM show.

GUITAR: Probable Chords follows his best-selling title GUITAR: Total Scales Techniques and Applications and teaches every chord in each key of music listed from most probable to least probable. GUITAR: Probable Chords uniquely combines method and instruction with a guide for song writing structure as well as musical reference for as long as you own and play the guitar. Chords for each musical key are listed from basic through intermediate and advanced based on music theory as well as "exceptions to the rules" based on all styles of popular and modern music.

The book is already generating great reviews:

"Mr. Sternal expertly untangles the mess of theory behind chord/key relationships, and in the process gives you a glut of useful shapes and songwriting tips. Whereas some chord books offer 34,276 diagrams and not a hint of direction, Probable Chords presents a clear-cut method for learning the most essential fingerings and then putting them to work in a musical context." -Chris O'Byrne, Guitar One Magazine

"...Mark John Sternal has already authored seven best-selling instructional books on guitar. He's often referred to as "the world's greatest guitar teacher." ...Successfully putting into words how to play guitar and how to make it a fun passion and pastime ...is what Mark Sternal's life mission is all about." -John Collins, The Broadcaster

"Mark John Sternal has done it again. This guy has a wonderful ability to take what is truly complex and through words and diagrams, convince the reader it's not as tough as it really is. ...Making sense of often fuzzy theory and demystifying the complex is one of the true attributes of "Guitar: Probable Chords." -Chris Armold, Guitar Digest Magazine
