PRS Guitars is pleased to announce their partnership with General Motors and Corvette Racing will continue through the 2006 season. The PRS logo will continue to be displayed on the Corvette C6.R racecar during the race season, and PRS Corvette Standard guitar will be produced for a second consecutive year.

Paul Reed Smith Guitars is a leading manufacturer of high-end electric and electro-acoustic guitars. PRS guitars are handcrafted with attention to detail from the finest materials available. Through innovative design and superior quality of workmanship, PRS provides the musician with the best instrument possible. PRS guitars are used by Carlos Santana, Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction, Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge, and a veritable "who's who" of top musicians. Founded in 1985, the company is based in Stevensville, Maryland.

PRS Guitars will display its line of Corvette inspired instruments at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, January 19-22, 2006. A LeMans Blue Z06 will be on display at the PRS party at the Grove of Anaheim alongside Jeff Gordon's new Dupont Hot Hues NASCAR Chevrolet Monte Carlo. NAMM is the world's largest trade-only music products show with more than 74,000 attendees and over 1,300 exhibiting vendors. The Corvette guitars are available through authorized PRS guitar dealers worldwide.

"The Corvette/PRS project exceeded our greatest expectations last year." said

Jack Higginbotham, President of PRS Guitars. "This partnership is a result of a very real enthusiasm that we have for Corvettes, Corvette racing and a love of our instruments. We are proud to have further carried the relationship into other areas of Chevy Racing. From the 24 Hours of Le Mans to the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 NASCAR event, it's been an awesome year."

Todd Christensen, GM Racing Business Development Manager, added:

"PRS Guitars are known in the music world as a builder of premier guitars, instruments that are truly functional works of art. We at General Motors believe that, within our industry, Corvette mirrors these attributes, and so it's very fitting that PRS and GM have an excellent rapport. Our partnership has allowed us to commemorate PRS Guitars as well as the excellence of Corvette. Crafting a limited edition Corvette Z06 PRS guitar was a natural fit. We're proud to display the PRS logo on the championship Corvette C6.R racecar, which has allowed us to further our partnership and extend the marketing reach of PRS."

Corvette Racing had a milestone year in 2006, claiming the American Le Mans Series GT1 manufacturer's championship, the driver's championship, the team championship, and the pit crew championship. The team also took top honors at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, its fourth 1-2 finish in the GT1 class in five years. Overall, Corvette Racing has now recorded 45 victories and 31 1-2 finishes.

The Corvette C6.R is the most technically advanced sports car ever developed by General Motors, culling years of experience from the dominant Corvette C5-R as well as the advancements brought forth from the next-generation Corvette C6 and Z06 production models.

The GM Racing-PRS Guitars partnership extends through December 2006. PRS Corvette guitars are displayed at the National Corvette Museum as well as at special racing events.
