Ball will perform with The Neville Brothers and The Meters, singing the New Orleans classic, "Fiyo On The Bayou." This performance will promote the "From The Big Apple To The Big Easy" benefit concert being held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 20, 2005.]

Celebrated pianist/vocalist/songwriter Marcia Ball will join fellow Louisianans The Neville Brothers and The Meters tonight, September 15, 2005, on "The Late Show With David Letterman." They will perform the New Orleans classic, "Fiyo On The Bayou."

Ball's new CD, Live! Down the Road (Alligator AL 49043), is currently holding the #8 position on the Billboard Blues Chart. The New York Press says, "Ball is an astounding triple threat: an incisive writer who plays the meanest barrelhouse piano this side of Professor Longhair, then completes the package with a sweet and potent voice."
