PRS Guitars Brings More Than Music to NASCAR's Chevy Rock & Roll 400

PRS Guitars, located in Stevensville, MD, will be providing more than music at the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 September 8, 9, and 10 at Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, VA.

The trophy for Saturday's (September 10) Nextel Cup Race is designed and built by PRS. Measuring over four feet in height, the trophy incorporates a custom PRS guitar engulfed in polished aluminum flames seated on a mahogany and maple pedestal. It will be displayed in the media center at the track and also will make appearances at the Chevy Fanfest. The guitar is painted in the same Dupont Hot Hues® colors as the event pace car.

PRS Guitars will also have a display in Chevy's Fanfest area. There, several PRS guitars will be featured including the PRS Corvette Standard. The Paul Reed Smith Band, Johnny Hiland Band, and the legendary rocker, Pat Travers will perform concerts Thursday and Friday at 5:30pm. Additionally, Paul and Johnny will be sitting in with the Jolie Holliday band throughout the three day event on the Chevy stage.
