August 4, 2005Mambo Sons Release New CD, 'Racket of Three'Press release Racket of Three is Mambo Sons' third album and the follow-up to Play Some Rock & Roll! which was named Best Indie Release of 2003 by NYRock magazine. Their self-titled debut Mambo Sons (1999) featured Rick Derringer and Kenny Aaronson. Racket of Three features Tom Guerra (guitars and vocals), Scott Lawson (vocals and bass), Joe Lemieux (drums and vocals) and special guest from the Dickey Betts Band, Matt Zeiner on Hammond B3 and piano.
